Birthday Dilemma

Kyra's birthday is June 19. For her birthday this year our family will be in Florida with the McAllister side of the family. Kyra is very happy to go, yet bothered by the fact that we won't be in town for her birthday.

Here are her issues:
1) how can I be baptized if I'm not here for my birthday?
2) I won't be able to wear the birthday crown at school because I won't be here.
3) they won't be able to sing to me at church
4) I won't be able to have a party with my friends

So, here is how we have addressed each issue:
1) you can still be baptized even if you aren't here because you aren't baptized ON your birthday.
2) your teacher will recognize your birthday BEFORE we leave. However, reminding your teacher each week, will not make her happy.
3) they WILL still sing to you at church, it may just be the week before. Again, reminding the primary presidency and your primary teachers each week until June that you won't be here doesn't necessarily help.
4) we can still have a party. However, telling your friends that the party is THIS weekend is NOT a good idea.

As a family we are VERY excited for this vacation. However, WHY OH WHY did we have to tell Kyra back in NOVEMBER that we are going in JUNE!!!!! It's going to be a very long 4 months.
