Lucky Mom Part Two

We had the nicest compliment today about Tanner. We were heading into his futsal game and the owner of the building called Scott over to talk. So, the kids and I went ahead and entered the futsal area.

When Scott came in I asked him what Peter wanted. This was his reply:

"He asked me my son's name. So, I told him. Then he said, that he just wanted me to know how impressed he was with Tanner. He said that every week Tanner walks in and waves and says hi. He said that there are so many boys that come in every week and no one else does that. Then he teared up and said that he was so impressed with how sincere Tanner seems to be. When Tanner comes and asks for the goalie gloves, he is very polite and asks to borrow them. Then he asks how I am doing. When he brings them back, Tanner doesn't just throw them on the shelf. He makes sure he hands them back to me and says, thank you. "

I just looked at Scott and said, "wow!" Then Scott said, that he added. "He must have a great mom." (yes, he really said that!)

Talk about proud parent moments. I said it before and I'll say it again...I'm a Lucky Mom! I have a GREAT kids!
