After church today we were talking about things the kids learned during church. My new calling is the ward librarian, so I have a pretty good idea what each lesson topic is based on the copies made and pictures gathered. Well, today I know that the lesson was on prophets. So, knowing this I asked Kyra what her lesson was on.
Kyra: nothing...we just looked at pictures
Mom: what were the pictures of?
Kyra...I don't know. They were just pictures.
Mom: (realizing I was getting nowhere, so decided to just give a prompt) Was your lesson on prophets?
Kyra: No, it was about this boy who threw a baseball at a barn and it went through the window and he was honest and told the lady that he broke the window. Then he got old. (Pres. Harold B. Lee? Maybe?...uh...prophets?)
